While some women enjoy watching a man grovel, the average girl would much rather receive a sincere and heartfelt apology to a girlfriend over flowers, jewelry, and chocolate " well maybe not chocolate. The bottom line is that women are emotional creatures and most of our emotions are lived on the surface where men often bury their emotions down deep. If you want your apology to a girlfriend to strike a chord deep within her you need to tap into your emotional side for just a little while.
Be used to acknowledging whatever she says or feels especially if that thing seems important to her. Do not show her that you care less. Instead, make her feel that you understand and in sync of whatever emotional process she is going through.
It is very difficult to explain your side but you need to do it anyway, for it is basically an important element of an effective apology to a girlfriend. It doesn't matte whose fault it is; the important thing is that you learn to acknowledge your faults and ready to say a sincere sorry.Try not to say things that will make her feel that it's her fault.

Is is appropriate to ask an apology to a girlfriend in a bus, mall, or on a street? Definitely not! Do the apology appropriately,be sensible enough to know when and where is the right to do it.
